Hyundai has created 2022 vehicle models that all have impressive interiors, exteriors, and tech that inspired 2023 models.

As the year comes close we can give Hyundai one last look at some of the 2022 models to get ready for their newest 2023 models that will be heading our way. In this blog, we will look at each model’s interior and exterior design, safety features, technology, and if any special features that are exclusive to each 2022 Hyundai vehicle. 2022 Hyundai Kona

Interior and Exterior Design

Hyundai wanted to give the 2022 Kona a “sporty and sophisticated design” with striking front design and bold protective cladding. The 2022 Kona has enhanced LED daytime running Lamps and new taillights that feature horizontally-stretched graphics. The inside is where the sophisticated design really comes in, though. The middle console is disconnected from the instrument panel to give the front seat a more wide and spacious atmosphere. The cup holder, and foot wells have ambient lighting, and USB-ports for the second-row passengers.

Some of the many features that the 2022 Kona include are:

And the Blue Link is connected to your smartphone with the Blue Link app, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Android wear & Apple watch.

2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5

Interior and Exterior Design

To link their past, present and future, Hyundai designed the Ioniq 5 with a sleek and sophisticated look. Drawing inspiration from Hyundai’s ‘45’ EV concept from 2019, the 2022 Ioniq 5 has parametric pixel LED lighting, V-shaped bumper with accent lighting, and flush automatic door handles.

Safety Features

The 2022 Ioniq 5 is equipped with SmartSense Advanced Driver Assistance Systems to ensure high levels of convenience and safety, these include:

  • Highway Driving Assist
  • Smart Cruise Control
  • Forward Collision-Avoidance
  • Blind-spot collision avoidance
  • Intelligent Speed Limit Assist
  • Driver Attention Warning
  • High Beam Assist

Technology

The Ioniq 5 is the first Hyundai that offers over-the-air wireless updates for maps and multimedia software. Hyundai’s BlueLink is also available, allowing you to remotely manage your car. Drivers can start and stop charging their cars from their phones with a push of a button, schedule pre-heating or cooling while it’s connected to its power source, and help schedule, and manage their charging.

Special Features

Hyundai included for the first time, a Head-Up Display with Augmented Reality. This makes the windshield a display screen which can help with navigation, and advanced safety by allowing drivers to process information quickly while keeping their attention on the road.

2022 Hyundai Tucson

Interior and Exterior Design

With the idea of “Parametric Dynamic Exterior” design, Hyundai’s Tucson carries an overall kinetic theme with a powerful forward motion. The Tucson has half-mirror type daytime running lamps that blend within the parametric grille and are only visible when illuminated. “INTERSPACE” is what Hyundai calls the interior of the Tucson, where space, technology, and information seamlessly blend.”

Some standard Smart Sense Safety Features that the Tucson has are:

The 2022 Santa Cruz has a ‘tough yet alluring demeanor” on the outside with a sophisticated and refined appearance on the inside.

Santa Cruz offers excellent safety and convenience features, with an array of advanced safety technologies as part of the Hyundai SmartSense feature suite.
