The N line model has an upgraded 1.6L four cylinder engine with an added turbocharger for some extra power and a dual clutch transmission. The base 2.0L engine available on the SE, SEL, and Limited trim models can generate 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. That gets it a 0-60 time of 8.1 seconds and a top speed of 131 mph. The upgraded N Line engine improves on power with 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. It also gets a faster top speed of 155mph. The hybrid powertrain provides faster acceleration and is only .3 seconds slower than the standard engine going from 0-60mph.
MPG
One of the benefits of the smaller engine options on the 2024 Hyundai Elantra is the impressive fuel economy. The standard 2.0L engine can achieve 33 mpg city and 42 mpg on the highway.
