For the people’s choice awards the Nominees are 2021 Subaru Outback, 2021 Hyundai Tucson and 2021 Hyundai Venue. I know everyone is eager to know who the winner is! The winner for “Best Value of 2021”  is the 2021 Hyundai Venue!!!!

This subcompact crossover vehicle is buzzing in the vehicle world. I completely understand why the exterior, interior, and performance speaks for itself.

Exterior

The Hyundai Venue distinctive exterior has its own style that we all love! Available in three trims, allowing buyers to choose from SE, SEL and the Denim. The SE comes with the 15″ Silver Aluminum wheels, the SEL and Denim both have the 17″ Machined with painted Accents Aluminum wheels. A nice pair of wheels are like a nice pair of shoes, just makes you want to get out and be seen.

Definitely can’t miss the structure of the grille. The SE and SEL share the same chrome grille and the Denim trim is a cascade grille. The grille always sets the tone of any vehicle and the tone is clearly being heard and seen. Especially with the headlights, the SE and SEL have the projector automatic headlights while the Denim has the LED daylight running lights and tail light clusters. One of the most important features of any vehicle are the lights to see exactly where you are going and making sure other drivers can spot you as well. The creators for the 2021 Venue kept everyone in mind with these lights so that they don’t come off overbearing to the eyes.

The Venue is available in a variety of colors giving fans a great choice to choose from. We all love options and being able to get exactly what we want puts the icing on the cake for us. To name a few available colors, the Venue comes in Ceramic White, Black Noir Pearl, Galactic Gray, Intense Blue and Scarlet Red Pearl. Pick any color you want and the price doesn’t shift up or down. One of the perks of getting the Denim trim is their own Denim paint finish with a white contrast roof. This 5 passenger seat vehicle looks good in any color.

Performance

Of course we don’t focus on looks alone, the power of the engine and transmission gets everyone’s gears going. There’s only one engine offered for the Venue which is the 1.6-liter Smartstream four cylinder power plant that produces 121 hp and 113 ob-ft of torque. The continuously variable transmission is the only transmission choice that carries most of the power and mimics gears of a conventional automatic. The quiet engine and transmission makes driving peaceful to the driver and passengers.

When we are going to point A and Point B, gas is always on our mind. Venue leaves us impressed with the gas mileage. This vehicle returns 30/33/31 mpg across the city/highway/combined cycles. The fuel capacity is 11.9 gallons, we all love a vehicle that is good on gas. Makes driving more adventurous for us.

Interior

Now let’s get into the interior! This vehicle can sit 5 passengers comfortably with cloth seats. All Venue trim levels have a built in 8-inch infotainment touchscreen display with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The touchscreen allows you to access messages, audiobooks, podcasts, phone, music and maps. Yes! Your phone is pretty much connected to your car without having to physically grab your phone. Such a huge convenience for the driver! The denim trim has a standard navigation system. The instrumental cluster is a total genius, buyers don’t have to figure out which door they didn’t close all the way as it literally tells you on the dashboard. The dashboard will reflect the outside temperature and also the cluster displays the number of miles that can be driven at the level of fuel in your tank.

The steering wheel-mounted audio controls make it easy to access the features without getting distracted from driving. Features are fun to have but what makes getting in your car more awesome is the music you drive to. You can listen to AM/FM, HD Radio or SiriusXM. The choice is really yours. The 2021 Venue has six speakers, 2 tweeters, 2 front-door-mounted speakers, 2 rear speakers located in the lower panel.

Out of nearly 400 options, 7 Hyundai vehicles were featured on the list in the categories of subcompact SUV, Mid-size SUV, Electric SUV, Subcompact Car, Compact Car, Sport Compact Car, and Family Sedan. Each of these vehicles were chosen for the Editors’ Choice list based on their rank in their market segment, and they comprise about one quarter of all the models currently for sale. 	Having received a bold new look in 2021, the Hyundai Elantra comes equipped with an upscale cabin and advanced technology features. Sport Compact Car	Hyundai Veloster N
	Previously the Veloster N came with a six-speed manual transmission as the only available option. In 2021, an eight-speed dual clutch automatic transmission has been added as an option. • To celebrate International Women’s Day, Hyundai has created the Women is STEM Scholarship.
• The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Scholarship helps shape and define the next generation of women leaders.
• Edmond Hyundai supports women in STEM in OKC.

With a world that is changing so rapidly, STEM has become an ever increasing interest in the education system & workforce. It challenges minds to problem solve, make sense of information, and to know how to gather/evaluate evidence to make decisions. STEM fields will be an essential skill for young leaders to understand and solve complex challenges of today and tomorrow.

The scholarship goes to 5 female STEM students residing in the United States who will each receive $10,000. Hyundai is asking senior high school students and college undergraduates to write an essay of 500 words or more on why they have chosen a STEAM-related career field for their future, and what is driving them to be and do better.

“At Hyundai, we understand that building a better future starts with investing in the young women inventing it today,” said Angela Zepeda, CMO, Hyundai Motor America, “We hope this scholarship program helps funnel more women into the STEM fields, resulting in a significant impact to the gender gap that still exists today.”

COVID -19 Update: WE ARE OPEN

What we are doing to keep ourselves and our customers safe:

1.     We have commercial cleaning that is done every night.

2.     Cleaning and bleaching all bathrooms every night.

3.     We have added an additional nightly cleaning crew to clean, disinfect and wipe down all high contact areas and surfaces, chairs, doorknobs, phones, desks and tables. 

4.     Every day, multiple times a day, employees are wiping down and sanitizing high traffic surfaces (door knobs, tables, chairs etc.)

5.     There are multiple sanitation areas around our stores.

6.     Our shuttle drivers have sanitation bottles to wipe down the shuttle after each run.

7.     Signs are posted in all bathrooms with CDC guidelines on washing your hands.

All Team Members and Customers, Please Follow The COVID-19 Update of CDC Guidelines:

1.     If you are sick – stay home

2.     Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds frequently throughout the day

3.     If you have to sneeze, make sure you cover your nose and mouth, preferably with a tissue and then throw the tissue away, then wash your hands.

Edmond Hyundai’s First Look at the 2020 Hyundai Palisade. You thought 2019 was all the rage right now? Surprise! How about the new Palisade?

That’s right! Two photos were leaked delivering a probable first look at the new 2020 Palisade. Hyundai plans to officially debut the large, eight-passenger SUV at the Los Angeles Auto Show in under two weeks, but we get a sneak peak!

Auto Review released the manufacturer style photo before Hyundai could and we’re ready to rave all about it. The Hyundai Palisade will burst on the scene in late 2019, early 2020 for sale among other large family style SUVs like the Ford Expedition, Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon, but where Hyundai’s concerned, it’s the first of its kind.

Hyundai’s vehicles so far only hit the seven-passenger range, but the 2020 Palisade is made for more. The Palisade gets its name from the neighborhood, Pacific Palisades, in Southern California with bold exterior reflecting the daring nature of California dreamers.
